THE LUBELSKIE PROVINCE HAS DECIDED TO ALLOCATE AT LEAST 30 MILLION FROM THE EU BUDGET PLANNED IN THE UPCOMING PERSPECTIVE FOR HYBRID PPP. In this mode the projects concerning mainly modernization of street lighting and energy efficiency improvement are to be realized.
Let us remind that hybrid PPP consists in combining the use of EU funds – currently the standard way of financing public investments – with public-private partnership. IT IS A GREAT WAY TO EFFECTIVELY COMBINE THE BENEFITS OF EACH OF THESE FORMULAS.
This commitment to use the hybrid PPP was written into the agreement concluded between the Lublin Province and the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy. This document sets out the conditions for funding and the most important projects to be implemented under the European Funds for Lubelskie 2021-2027.
It is worth mentioning that the signing of the discussed document opens the possibility of negotiating with the European Commission the detailed conditions of the program.
IN ANY CASE, THERE IS NO DOUBT THAT REACHING FOR A HYBRID PPP IS A GOOD STEP – WE JUST HAVE TO KEEP OUR FINGERS CROSSED FOR THE SUCCESS OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE ADOPTED INTENTIONS.
