Investment in photovoltaics by farmers is a good idea not only for modernization of farms, but also to EARN MONEY – for example, through the lease of land for the construction of photovoltaic farms. In such cases it is worth to take advantage of appropriate funding.

As Radek Zieniewicz of the Farmer.pl portal informs, in June the call for applications to the AgroEnergy programme will be launched, in which farmers and landlords of agricultural property will be able to apply for subsidies for RES installations. The condition is that they own land with an area between 1 and 300 ha and personally run the farm for at least one year before submitting the application.

The support will be available for RES installations producing green energy of 10-50 kWp.

It is certainly a program worth interest, but it is a pity that it is not available also for tenants only cooperating with agribusiness and not running a farm personally.

Such an approach would definitely help RES-EURCE ENERGY BUSINESSES and FARMERS INTERESTED IN JOINT INVESTMENT IN RENEWABLE ENERGY.
