The Ministry of Infrastructure is accepting applications for the development of further areas on the Baltic Sea designated for the construction of wind farms. What criteria will determine the selection of contractors?
The key criterion will be the PROPOSED METHOD OF FINANCING THE INVESTMENT – including own funds, loans, credits and co-financing from public funds.
The Ministry decided that it will also take into account the assumed efficiency of the zone’s use – assuming that it will be at least 8 MW per km2 – the investor’s possession of adequate facilities and experience in energy storage.
The selected contractors are to become PARTICIPANTS in the SECOND STAGE OF OFFSHORE SUPPORT IN THE BALTIC.
In this stage, differential contracts will be awarded through auctions, which will be won by offering the lowest possible energy price.
