From the very beginning of the coronavirus crisis, public investment has been touted as one way to counteract its effects. Everything indicates that ANOTHER ROAD INVESTMENTS are imminent.
The President has already signed the amendments to the Traffic Law, the Act on the Government Road Development Fund and the Act on the Fund for development of public bus transport.
One of the most important issues in this area is INCREASING THE LIMIT OF SUPPORT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF CITY BY-PASSES LOCATED ON ROADS OF VEHICLES TO MORE THAN PLN 2 MILLION.
The amendment will come into force on January 1, 2022.
This, in turn, means that next year there will be increased funds for construction of city bypasses. In the new state of the law, the decision to increase funds in the Government Road Development Fund will be made by the Minister of Transport.
THE AMOUNT OF THE FUND WILL ALSO BE ABLE TO BE INCREASED WITHIN THE ALREADY ANNOUNCED CALL FOR PROPOSALS.
